What is the award

As part of its 30th anniversary celebrations, Corlett Bolton is offering a £5,000 grant, to enable a research project to be undertaken within the scope of any of the following areas relating to the Island community.

  • The natural environment of the Isle of Man, including its flora and fauna
  • An environmental issue specific to the Isle of Man e.g. air quality, water quality
  • Manx social history
  • Manx culture
  • Social care / Social problems e.g. homelessness

Corlett Bolton has provided a wide range of legal services to the Isle of Man community since the firm was established in 1992. Through its promise of being ‘truly local advocates’, the firm has ensured that the practice is both approachable and accessible to as many residents as possible. It remains committed in giving back to the Island through support for a broad range of local community endeavours, such as this intiative.
