BTEC First Principles & Application of Science (Level 2)

What is the Course About?

This course will enable you to develop and apply core knowledge and scientific skills in biology, chemistry and physics. BTEC Applied Science is a vocational qualification, which means that the emphasis is on learning about the world of science employment in engaging, relevant and practical ways. In doing so, you will develop valuable transferable skills, including the ability to collaborate effectively, to use a range of scientific equipment competently and safely, and to produce both practical and research reports.

How will I be assessed?

The course is assessed using a combination of internal assessments (coursework assignments) and external assessments (exams).
