UCM has three Realistic Working Environments (RWEs) which replicate particular aspects of an industry. In these dynamic spaces, students are able to develop and practice skills needed to gain employment. The interaction between students and clients is embraced in our RWEs and, under the supervision of our industry-experienced staff, students are given the opportunity to put their learning from the classrooms into action through “hands-on” experience.
Annie Gill Café
Offers a selection of hot and cold drinks, wholesome homemade soups and delicious homemade cakes prepared by our students.
Opening times: Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, 10.30 am to 1.30 pm.

Cristory’s Restaurant
Offers Table D’hôte lunches. A La Carte lunches, gourmet dinners and afternoon teas. In addition, there are themed lunches and dinners, breakfast and coffee mornings.

Offer a comprehensive list of hair and beauty treatments in professionally equipped salons using professional product ranges such as Dermalogica, Jane Iredale, Environ and Wella, which can be purchased at Synnova’s Reception along with gift vouchers.
