We are pleased to announce that we are able to take enrolments and payments for Leisure courses online. Please visit our website www.ucm.ac.im and under Leisure & Recreation, select the course(s) you would like, and follow the online instructions to enrol. If you are unable to go online, then you can still enrol in person at the College reception. Our normal weekday hours of opening are Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays 8.30am to 5.00pm, Tuesdays and Wednesdays 8.30am– 7.15pm. Holiday periods 8.30am to 5.00pm. Please note that if you do not make a payment within 24 hours of enrolling on your course, your place will not be held and others may take your place.

You can now pay and enrol for courses online, using your bank card and course code(s), just visit our website www.ucm.ac.im. If you are unable to go online, you can enrol in person at College reception. Please note that we will not be processing any postal payments. Any cheques sent to UCM will be returned to the sender, followed up with a courtesy phone call and a confirmation letter.

This can only be considered in exceptional circumstances. You will need to contact our Finance Office for advice on this, please phone 648230.

Please see the details of possible concessions on our website www.ucm.ac.im. You will need to upload supplementary information with your online enrolment.

If UCM receives an enrolment from any individual (under 16 years of age) that has not contacted the Leisure course secretary, then please be aware that this enrolment will be subject to review and may be declined. This decision supersedes any previous acceptance of the individual on the course.

If your course has changed venue, been rescheduled or cancelled, we will notify students either by text, email or phone. If your course is cancelled, we will refund any fees paid.

A minimum enrolment number is required to recover the full costs of providing the course. If numbers of students fail to reach this minimum, we reluctantly cancel the course. We contact the students and provide a full refund, or offer a transfer to another course if a suitable one is available.

Please refer to the UCM Withdrawal and Refund Policy on our website. Alternatively, please contact the college Refunds Officer on 648323 or email refunds@ucm.ac.im

Places are not transferable to another person. This is due to the existence of waiting lists and insurance issues.

Please indicate your needs where asked about this on our online enrolment form. We can discuss this with you in advance and prepare for the start of your course. Please be reminded, that if you have underlying health problems, and enrol on a course involving physical activity, you do so at your own risk.

The Refectory and Grab & Go are opened in the weekdays, please see the UCM website for opening hours. Students enrolling on Saturday one-day courses at the College are advised to take a packed lunch with them, as there are, unfortunately, no staffed facilities available for the provision of food on Saturdays. There are, however, vending machines with snacks and drinks.

In the event of the Island being affected by adverse weather conditions, the Department of Education, Sport & Culture buildings will make an announcement on Manx Radio, Energy FM and 3FM to advise whether all or some of the schools and the College are closed. Announcements will be updated on the radio stations’ websites as well as the UCM website and social media.
