Every year we host a Skills Test where our students show the incredible skills they have learned - battling against each other and the clock!
This event is open to the public for free - all we ask if that you register your attendance beforehand - please register on Eventbrite here.

Battle of the Pans
Our Hospitality, Catering & Food Service students will be testing their culinary skills using Manx produce. The students will be broken into two groups by the level of their studies.
- Level 1 students in the kitchen will produce & serve a vegetarian Manx broth with a wild garlic pesto, students in the bakery will produce two scones with rhubarb jam and whipped Manx cream, and students showing their front of house skills will set up tables for four covers including table decoration and napkin folding.
- Level 2 students will produce & serve a main course using Loaghtan lamb as the star ingredient as well as a dessert showcasing ingredients from the Isle of Man Creamery and Laxey Mills.

Sports
Our sports students will be analysing sports data and presenting a fitness plan. Please note that this skills test isn't open to the public.

Pitch it Perfect: The Ultimate Student Business Challenge!
See our Business students dive headfirst into the exciting realm of product development, creative design and marketing! Teams will create, market and pitch a new product to a panel of business experts in the hope that they will be crowned the next big thing. Join us at the Student Business Challenge, where creativity meets strategy, and innovation is the currency of success! May the boldest emerge as the true titans of tomorrow!
