UCM’s Training Salon Opening Soon

UCM’s (University College Isle of Man) training Salon, Synnova, will be opening again soon, offering professional hair and beauty treatments at highly affordable prices.

Hairdressing appointments will become available from week commencing 2nd November, while beauty treatments will begin from the end of November.

Synnova provides members of the public with the opportunity to receive salon-quality treatments at a fraction of the high street cost, while supporting students as they develop the practical skills needed to achieve their qualifications.

From haircuts, styling and colouring services to a variety of beauty treatments, every appointment plays an important role in helping students gain the real-world experience required for success in the industry.

While treatments are delivered by students, customers can feel confident knowing that all services are closely supervised by experienced staff who have extensive professional backgrounds in hairdressing and beauty therapy.

The salon forms a key part of the learning experience for students studying hairdressing and beauty programmes at UCM. Working with real clients enables learners to build their confidence, refine their technical skills and gain valuable experience in a professional salon environment.

Appointments are expected to be popular, and members of the public are encouraged to book early once services become available.
