Entries for the Manx Graduate Dissertation Competition are now open, with the winner to be announced at UCM’s Research Festival in October.
Every year UCM welcomes submissions from its graduating students and Manx graduates’ from off-Island universities for the competition, which aims to celebrate the research skills and innovative development ideas that the students have.
As well as securing this accolade, the winner of the competition will receive a prize of £200.
Entries can be in the form of poster, presentation or video, and must be submitted by:
- Poster – 26th September
- 20-minute presentation at the Festival – register interest by 31st July
- Video – register interest by 1st September and provide video by 10th October
The Research Festival’s Organising Committee will select the winner which will be announced at the event on Friday 23rd October at the Villa Marina.
Gail Corrin, UCM’s Higher Education Manager said: ‘The Research Festival is such an interesting and diverse event, and now attracts presentations and delegates from the UK and further afield. This is a great opportunity for graduates to show off the skills they have learnt as well as the insights from their dissertation.”
