UCM Degree and Postgraduate Open Day

University College Isle of Man (UCM) is holding its Open Day for people interested in studying a degree-level, degrees and postgraduate qualifications on Island.

The event will be held at the University College’s Nunnery campus on Thursday 1st December between 4.30pm – 7pm.

UCM’s Higher Education lecturers will be available throughout the event to discuss the wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses in areas including Art, Design & Media, Administration, Business, Finance, Computing, Education Studies, Engineering and Science, History, Sport and Health & Social Care.

Staff will also be on-hand to answer questions about fees, grants and the fantastic academic support available to students at UCM.

The event is open to the all, but may particularly be of interest to school aged students and their families who would like to know more about what opportunities and benefits there are to studying for a degree on Island. Mature students wanting to get back into education, support a career change, pursue their interests or who want to attain a masters, will be thrilled at the range of Higher Education courses available and are being encouraged to attend the event.

Among UCM’s postgraduate qualifications is the popular Work-Based Integrative Studies programme which is a flexible and individualised masters which enables students to gain academic credit for past professional activities, and provides them with a title which is tailored to their individual career.
