Study Higher Education at UCM

University College Isle of Man (UCM) is currently an Associate College of the University of Chester, which accredits and awards our degrees.

We also work closely with other national and international professional associations and awarding bodies.

We provide a range of higher education programmes, such as: undergraduate and postgraduate courses, as well as Higher National Certificates and Diplomas, which are offered on a part-time and full-time basis. View the full prospectus here.

We fully support and embrace lifelong learning, and therefore also offer a range of other professional qualifications, so you continuously develop and progress in your career.

Employability is at the heart of our offering at UCM. We aim to equip you with the relevant skills and knowledge to have a professionally rewarding and personally fulfilling future. One of the ways we do this is by enabling you to gain practical experience during your studies, via internships, work placements and field trips.

Due to our relatively small class sizes, you will have the opportunity to have more individualised attention with our lecturers who have substantial work experience in their relevant fields.

Whilst academic excellence is of vital importance to us, we also believe that health and well-being are key to your success and therefore provide a range of extra-curricular activities that you can participate in. In addition to that, living on the Isle of Man means you will be spoilt for choice with outdoor spaces, from beaches to mountains and wild forests to rolling hills, where you can take a break from your studies and enjoy nature.
