Bookings for Christmas Lunch at University College Isle of Man (UCM) Training Restaurant, Oastan, will go on sale on Thursday 16th October at the annual coffee morning event.
The Christmas bookings will run on selected dates from Friday 21st November to Thursday 11th December. If you would like to book a table, please visit UCM’s annual coffee morning between 10am – 12pm.
Aside from Christmas, the restaurant, which is run by students studying Catering, Hospitality and Food Service will be open for lunch services on selected days from Thursday 15th January 2026 through to Friday 15th May 2026.
The delightful Christmas menu, featuring the famed Mince Pies, has been crafted by Chefs Lecturer Robert Hunter, who has worked in world-class restaurants around the globe, including the Goring Hotel in London, and Irene Berry, an accomplished pastry chef who previously worked under Jason Atherton at the Michelin-starred Pollen Street Social in Mayfair, London.
Students working in front of house are also gaining valuable real-world experience under the guidance of the UCM hospitality team, ensuring every guest enjoys a truly special dining experience.
