UCM Foundation Learning Awards Highlight Students’ Outstanding Achievements

Foundation Learning students from University College Isle of Man (UCM) have received awards at an annual event to celebrate the outstanding achievements of students with additional and complex learning needs.

Students who study Foundation Learning, vary in abilities, ranging from those studying at Level 1 who require additional support with their studies, to students with more complex needs.

(Mrs) Alison Higson, Programme Manager for Foundation Learning, said “All of our students have worked incredibly hard this year, and we are extremely proud of the effort and dedication each and every one of them have continually displayed.

“It is brilliant to see so many students approaching their studies with a positive and mature attitude. They’re all eager learners who have used the opportunity to come to UCM to reach their potential, and we are excited to see what the future holds for these young people.”
