At the recent prestigious International Association of Bookkeepers (IAB) Awards Ceremony hosted by IAB President Fabian Hamilton MP at the Palace of Westminster, London, University College Isle of Man (UCM) was announced as the Silver Centre Award recipient.
The Centre Awards were selected by IAB and given to IAB Accredited Centres around the world to acknowledge their achievements and dedication to providing individuals with bookkeeping and payroll skills through their qualifications.
To be a recipient of this award, UCM’s performance was analysed in a number of ways, but specific focus was placed on: success rates, length of accreditation and number of learners registered throughout the year.
IAB Course Tutors, Catherine Delaney and Leslie Carroll represented UCM at the Award Ceremony.
Joanne Richardson, Vice Principal of UCM said, “Winning this award is an amazing recognition for UCM and reflects our commitment to maintain the high standard of performance of our students on IAB courses, as the qualifications that they gain from these courses help to support growth in our economy.”
UCM is committed to serving the Isle of Man community through excellence in training and education. It does so by offering a broad range of programmes, which include academic, vocational, leisure and professional courses. For more information, please visit our courses here.
