The Education system on the Isle of Man places emphasis on the appropriate application of current educational research to practice. The module has been designed specifically to explore and critique educational leadership theory, research and practice as it relates to the Manx context; and to promote endogenous growth of educational leaders across all phases of provision. Connecting research, policy & practice in support of student learning and positive development to create productive educational systems is a challenge for all educational leaders and this is the primary focus of this module.
