Level 3 National Extended Diploma in Business
What is the Course About?
This vocational course is equivalent to 3 A Levels for those wishing to find employment in the Island's business sector or for progression on to a degree in higher education and carries a maximum UCAS tariff of 168 points. The course is a blend of 13 business modules studied over 2 years which are essential in today's workplace. In addition, students have an opportunity to study GCSE Maths alongside this course.
Guest speakers, offsite visits to local businesses and a work placement module also form part of the course and you will also be encouraged to participate in fundraising and enrichment activities

What are my progression and career options?
Higher Education – this qualification attracts UCAS points allowing you to progress to studying a degree either on the Island or off Island.
Employment – a wide variety of employment opportunities await you in the business sector such as finance, marketing, e-gaming, retail, HR or law.
How will I be assessed?
4 modules are assessed through external examinations, 2 in the first year and 2 in the second year. The remaining modules are assessed through written assessments. These typically include written reports, presentations, booklets, information leaflets and group work activities.
Entry requirements
4 GCSEs grade A* to C, including English and Mathematics at grade D or above.
