  • Level 2 City & Guilds 6189-11 Diploma Plumbing & Domestic Heating
    ENTRY:

    You will need to have a minimum of two GCSE’s at grade C in either Maths/Science/English or successful completion of the pre-apprenticeship course with a merit profile after a review of your portfolio. You are also required to obtain full-time employment with a plumbing or building company.

    Mature entrants (over 18) may be allowed entry if they can demonstrate that they have an equivalent to the academic criteria via CV and interview. Additionally, you will need to be employed and registered with the Department of Enterprise, who can be contacted on 685808. As applications for this craft are usually high and available student spaces are strictly limited, you are encouraged to make an application to college and begin seeking an employer as soon as practicable.

  • Level 2 City & Guilds 6706 Diploma Site Carpentry (P1297)
    ENTRY:

    You will need to have successfully achieved Level 1. Additionally, you will need to be employed by a relevant employer and registered with the Department of Education, Sport & Culture (tel: 682379).

  • Level 3 BTEC National Diploma in Construction & the Built Environment
    ENTRY:

    Three GCSE’s at grade C including Maths and English. Alternatively applications from experienced construction operatives will be considered on their own merit. Students who gain entry via GCSE qualifications may be required to complete additional study. All students will undertake an entry assessment during enrolment week.

  • Level 4 BTEC Higher National Certificate in Construction and the Built Environment
    ENTRY:

    Entry onto the course requires students to have either 2 A Levels or a National Diploma with merit grade. Students who gain entry by A Level qualifications may be required to complete additional study. You will undertake an entry assessment during enrolment week.

    Alternatively applications from experienced construction operatives will be considered on their own merit.

  • Work Based Golf Green Keeper Apprenticeship City and Guilds 0065 – Level 3
    ENTRY:

    Set by the Employer but typically 4 GCSE’s A-D and a knowledge and competency of golf green keeping

    Selection for the course is via interview.
